Please add volvo dlc to 1.41 temp....

Dear SCS,

Please add the Volvo construction dlc to the temporary 1.41 before 1.42 goes public.
The 1.42 update isn't really adding anything for me in the game and i would like to keep my current main profile to work in 1.41 un till
you release Heart Of Russia (or another important update/dlc), but i can't without the Volvo dlc added to the temporary 1.41.

I don't play Convoy and though i'm sure the new FFB settings are nice, for the time being i'm fine with my current FFB settings
I hope some more people think this would be nice

The DLC has been released already. That means that, once 1.42 goes public, the 1.41 previous version that will remain available will already have that Volvo DLC enabled.

You need not to ask for it.

I know it's been released.
The issue is that i want to keep playing 1.41 for a while and once 1.42 gets out of beta i want to use the temporary 1.41 for incompatible mods, preferably a few days in advance, The Volvo dlc doesn't work in that atm, at least it didn't when i tried a few days ago.

The current temporary 1.41 is an older version than the main 1.41 version, all i'm asking is that they update that to work with the Volvo construction dlc, just in case.
It wouldn't be the first time a recent dlc isn't added to a temporary version of a retail version where it worked after a new version is released.

isnt that normally resolved when OB goes public, then latest "old" update becomes avaiable?

It's that what I meant it should happen as usual and why it should be not necessary to ask for it.

The rare exceptions to that had been (if I recall correctly) DLC that had appeared when betas for next version were active thus probably some kind of extra precautions were taken.

Let's see what happens this time. I don't see any reason they had not to apply the usual approach

@Truckdrivr, it's indeed normal, but it's happened before when it didn't happen, wish i could recall when that was.

Normally it's fine either way for me, but this time i'd rather stay on 1.41, i tried the current 1.41 temporary and that doesn't "know", if you will the Volvo dlc.

Anyways, if you want to be sure that would not be a problem for you once 1.42 goes public, then the off-topic sub-forum if the last place I would expect SCS employees to take a look.

Report yourself your main post so you could have the attention of a moderator and ask him to relocate this on suggestions sub-forum. It will fit a lot better in there. Or try to ask in the 1.42 beta topics; there for sure devs are actively looking our messages.

Well you might need to wait till we get 1.43 i assume it will add loads of new content Heart Of Russia will most likely come in 1.44 the reason i say this cos i heard SCS will do 1.43 which will be the last update for 2021 but the Volvo DLC should still work if you want to stay on 1.41 you should Right Click the game on Steam then Properties you should find betas click on betas and you will find incompatible mods for 1.41 and thats it you will be on 1.41 for incompatible mods even though you might or might not use mods
