Bought new desktop PC Intel i3 8350k 4.0 quad core with 8gb of ram with 1070ti gpu with 2tb harddrive. This is do well for ATS and ETS2 at 4K setting and future gpu upgrades. Can't see ATS/ETS2 or flight sims needing it anytime in the next five years.

why´d you waste that money on the i3 instead of getting an i5 with 6 cores for around the same price?

I3 8350k is quad core at $189 getting equal i7 6700k from 2015 that cost like $400 dollars. The 8350k does 85%-90% of fps per second at half the cost of i7 8700k need more core 8700k would be easy to upgrade. I3 are now quad core and i5 are hex core and I7 are Hexacore with hyper threading.

i3 8350k is beast to play fsx and Xplane with i5 8400 it's too low clock at 2.8 will get less frames in flight sims and can oc i3 8350k 4.5 to with cooler call it a day.

Cpu: intel core i5-4288u, dual core, 2.6 ghz, max 3.1 ghz
GPU: nVidia 920MX 2GB VRAM
Ram: DDR3 8 gb.
The game doesnt run at it's finest, but in the Base map and in France, i can't complain.

I don't really know. But on my pc which is at my parents house, i run it on 60. Comparing my perception of my pc and my laptop, i'd say that the fps should be somewhere inbetween 20-30 fps on the laptop, and it s steady. If you keep your truck vanilla clean, no cabin accesories, simple paint, i know for sure that it runs very very smooth in Vive la France for example, 35-45 fps, maybe even more.

Okay, thanks for the info ;)

Btw, you can add the fps visor in the Steam ingame overlay panel -> Settings -> IN-GAME tab, -> In-game FPS Counter [it should be off, open that menu and choose the screen corner where you want to place it] -> High contrast color to make it green and black, so it's more visible.
And that's it. ;)

Guys,

Hopefully someone can help, I'm currently running on an i3 and am suffering from a major knock on FPS

What sort of setup would I need to run 60FPS on the highest graphic setting

Many thanks
