This forum is named wrong
It's name have to be "Norwegian Bokmål" because that is the name of the language this forum represents.

When even Portuguese is separated with the names "Portuguese (Portugal)" and "Portuguese (Brazil)", I assumed some correctness is involved here, but your reply reminds me of the opposite. Is SCS's new slogan "Let's go shitty!"? If not, you must reconsider your attitude. Seriously.

Re: This forum is named wrong
Google and other international companies gives a *** about the language situation in Norway and either merges Norwegian Bokmål with Norwegian Nynorsk and calls that for the written Norwegian language, or they doesn't even touches Norwegian Nynorsk. At least SCS got this subforum for Game Localisation for Norwegian Nynorsk.
Calling Norwegian Bokmål the Norwegian language is like calling French the Belgian language.
(And yeah, I have applied to translate ETS2 to Norwegian Nynorsk, but haven't heard anything from the Game Localisation team.)

No Magnum-Driver, you didn't say why it was important in that reply. You only ranted about...
Are they completely different languages?
If that's the case then i would suggest they ADD another subforum, not rename one.
And while they are at it, they could then add Swedish (Scania) and Swedish (Shobresvenska) to the list. Because they too are very distinct languages that traditional Swedes have a hard time understanding.
So, still very relevant to your thread... Is it important?
As for my "attitude", you should reconsider your assumptions about my attitude because before this post, no "attitude" was intended nor was it delivered. And this post is a byproduct of your reaction to a valid question.

You explained how it works elsewhere, but you didn't make a case for why the distinction between "Norwegian" and "Norwegian (Bokmål)" is important. Is SCS's new slogan "Let's go shitty!"? If not, you must reconsider your attitude. Seriously.
