This is the standard view in my current truck. FPS is on average 10-15 lower than roof cam, so obviously interiors and associated accessories are the cause but that still doesn't address the issue of the sim not utilizing my CPU and GPU. I'm about to upgrade to a 560mm radiator pending some drilling work on the case but once that's done and the overclock pushed higher I'll revisit this thread again with updates.

In the meantime is there any way to introduce more aggressive LOD and object culling in the game?

ETS2 will NEVER utilize your full GPU/CPU potential because the engine isnt programmed for newer Hardware to use it effectively

so even over clocking will not get any results better then now

I had similar problems when I had the scaling set to 400%, with everything else set to the highest setting it will go to, so I dropped it to 200% and left everything else the way it was, and now I'm getting an average of 60 FPS with a system many people here say is low end. But for this game it's perfect. I do get some very slight slide show effects in the more detailed cities, where the FPS drops and fluctuates around 50 to 55 FPS. And that is with several large mods. But other than that, this computer works great for ETS2.

It's really simple when ETS/ATS have no stutter or lags without mods/maps than the mods/maps causing the lags and stutter, so yeah disable your mods and see what happens.

Just showing you can run ETS2 with 60FPS on 400%.
Just remove all your silly mods and there you go. No more whining about SCS has made the game worse. ;)
So? So you're just another troll who has nothing constructive to contribute here. You're the same kind of person who would butt into somebody's question thread with nothing more than "works fine for me". Newsflash: the world doesn't revolve around you. You have no issues? Great! You like driving boring vanilla trucks on boring unrealistic vanilla map using auto box and keyboard, fine! But there are also others who would like to add greater depth to their simulation who are hitting a soft limit well under what their hardware can provide and are trying to find a way to push the envelope.

SO. You can take your crappy keyboard driving at 60FPS void of "silly mods" and go wank over it somewhere else other than my thread, thank you!

Now, my question again: is there a way to induce more aggressive LOD and object culling in ETS2?

Listen pall when you buy a brand new car and you tune (modifier) the engine and something goes wrong you can't blame the manufacture that he has made a bad car, even so with a game manufacture when you use modifications, that's a choice you made.
The vanilla game runs without any problems you mention, if you want to use mods it's your own choice and responsibility to do that and please stop calling names when you don't get a answer you don't fit and no one is trolling you.
And even when you contact SCS about your game problem they will ask you to try ETS2 without mods, because without mods they can see where it goes wrong and with mods it could be anything except Euro Truck. Do You really think SCS will sort out every mod who can causing you problem do you? So don't act like this with calling names it's so childish.
