Game stops working all of a sudden

Hey Guys

I have a problem with my ets 2 game. I have tried downloading several mods, including Trucksim and Promods, but the game won't load and shuts down when I activate the mods. I have tried removing mods from the folder in documents, so the only mod in the folder would be the one I tried playing with, but every single time I try and start a new game with any mod, the loading bar reaches 50% and then the game stops working.

I've attached game log, and hope that maybe one of you guys can help me with my problem, so I can play ETS in some other cities than the standard ones :roll:

incompatible/out-dated mods ..that's the errorlines you see in the gamelog , sure it could work if you go thru every single one and edit-out those ...timeconsuming
your graphics are on the low-end of what is required to get the game fully functional .... considering any update in hardware :?:
try to run the game in 64bit mode ... and start with no mods...and build it from there.

Have fun, you might learn something along the way ...what mods do to each other ;)

I don't know the state and requirements of any map-mod. But the one you used when this log was written dies with this lethal error:

It is out of question that this is map-mod related. Something important is missing. What it is and how to fix it I can't say.

@tubbe14, you have Vive la France? Mario map does not work without this DLC.

I do not have Viva la France no. But the game doesnt work with any other mod either, so there must be something else to it.

You can't use Trucksim map (also known as TSM map) if you don't own all the DLC map extensions made by SCS. The same thing is valid for ProMods map and the majority of other big and important maps.

Is it impossible to get some great maps without having to pay money for the dlcs? I swear it was possible to use mods without the dlcs a while ago...

I don't know for sure what were their reasons, but map modders themselves decided to make the DLCs mandatory.

It's quite simple. If in maps are used models or prefabs from a specific dlc, it is not normal to add all required files in that map (how can be named ?????). In the same way, if a mod alter (improve) a model from a dlc, it is normal to make that dlc mandatory for that mod.
