Profile wiped!!

Hey,

Started ETS for the first time since updating to 1.37. Game took for ever to load up. Then when I selected my profile it loaded it as a new profile!! (Select starting base etc) I didn't have cloud back up on. I selected my mods profile, (deactivated all mods first) and it did exactly the same!! I now have two profiles with a combined 850hours game play and I am literally back to the start!!
Can I get my profiles back?? I didn't have folder restore points turned on so I can't load a previous version. I even checked onedrive but thats not there.
Please save me!!

My first (main profile) was no mods at all and just DLC (all DLC apart from a few paint packs)
Mods profile was only Promods and big T beacon pack from the steam workshop

Windows 10 hoe V2004
Intel I7 9900K OC 4.3ghz
MSI Nvidia 1060 gaming 6gb
ETS is installed on Samsung EVO SSD
32gb Corsair Vengence Ram 3600mhz (4 x 8 sticks)
ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming MOBO

If i select one of the reset profiles when loading up it now starts up from the first job screen (i.e I don't need to select a new base or profile)

Check your my documents/ATS folder for folders called. profiles(x.x.x).bak

If they exist you can copy the files into the current profile directory and they should work.

so i was copying files & backups into the .bak folder not realising that was the backup! -face palms head-
copied my backup into the profiles folder and all is back to normal

Did you update your pc to the windows update ver 2004
