Game crash immediately after SCS logo - Windows 10
Hello --
I have the Steam version of the game, and it used to work fine. I launched the game today and it crashed to black screen immediately after showing the SCS logo and locked up my computer - had to do a hard reboot. I re-installed the game from Steam, but no change. Game log is at https://pastebin.com/5f84ak2g. I have a Windows 10 setup with an AMD RX480 card, the latest Radeon drivers (ver. 20.5.1), and the configuration files are in my Documents folder under C:/Users (not linked to MS OneDrive). Please advise ...

Change the following line in the config (or config.cfg) file:
uset cf_asus_aura "1"
Change the "1" to "0" and save it.
You can find the config (or config.cfg) file in your documents in the ETS2 folder.

Re: Game crash continues after 'asus_aura' change
Thanks -- made the change in config and the game still crashes in the same spot. Game log snippet:
00:00:01.086 : uset r_texture_detail "0"
00:00:01.086 : uset cf_asus_aura "0"
00:00:01.086 : uset cf_razer_chroma "1"
00:00:01.086 : uset v_bug_break "0"

Can you please post the complete game.log to pastebin? That will be more helpfull than the snippet.

Re: Game crash immediately after SCS logo - Windows 10
Thanks for the reply. The complete game log link was listed in the original post - https://pastebin.com/5f84ak2g. The only thing that has changed is the cf_asus_aura setting, which is confirmed by the snippet.

No, I really mean that you should post the new game.log file from the crash to pastebin. Might help more even if this is really the only thing that changed.

OK, the gamelog created today is at https://pastebin.com/s6KvCZFj. Thanks for checking - it appears to crash in the same spot, but you may be able to spot additional differences.

Try also setting uset cf_razer_chroma "1" to 0

Re: Game crash immediately after SCS logo - works in 32-bit mode
Here's a new wrinkle - on a hunch I decided to try launching the game in 32-bit mode. Works fine and lets me create a new profile. Any idea why the 64-bit mode is crashing? I have a Ryzen 5 2600X processor with 16GB main memory and Windows 10 Pro, so that should be sufficient to run the game ...
