Light through trailer beds

Hi

Not sure if this a settings issue, a bug or a limitation of the games lighting engine.

The trucks lights (particularly the unit rear and any beacon lights) show up on the surface of the trailer when it should be blocked by the trailer, so the light is "bleeding" through the trailers

Is there anything I can do to stop it?

No, it's a limitation of the light system of the game that still has not been changed in 1.40 update.

It's the technical reason why lights go through solid objects (front vehicle beams going through tarmac and being able to be seen under bridges, beacons at the rear of a trailer casting the cone of light to the front, beacons of emergency vehicles lighting all the inside of our cabin...). it's also the reason behind the light in tunnels isn't realistic (they aren't as darker as they should during the day).

It's well know by developers and something they said they want to improve in the future, but it could take time considering the long list of "to do" they have.
