Graphic card drivers up to date?

Try enabling V Sync.

Curious how it goes!

For me, vsync is best/smoother. I just upgraded from an older Xeon to an i5-11600K reusing my existing RTX 2070. Even pushing 80-100 fps, I'll still see stutter/tearing with a completely vanilla game. Locking it at 60 fps with vsync is a noticeable improvement.

Also, are you using owned trailers? There is a known issue where owned trailers cause stuttering for some users.

i have a folder called no lag for ETS2 with a file called speed up pc and start this when game opens they are apprently windows command programmes and i have eurotrucks.exe on task manager on priority on high and affinity to CPU 1 and it seems to be running fine

let me try changing it to high settings and see if it still works

looks like with high settings it's okay

i may have to do these things i said on the first 2 lines but i will try it first next time without doing them and then if it starts lagging again i will have to do this everytime when i turn my computer on when i start the game up okay

it seems to be working okay now so i don't need to do what i typed anymore. it does stutter a bit but not as much as last time

Sounds like a batch file. A lot of the "PC Speed Up" programs are snake oil.

Glad it's working a bit better though.
