Hello all together,
did anybody upgraded his Ryzen system from 3000 to 5000 Generation and can say if he encountered an improvement due to higher clockspeeds and changed Cache topology
in some games there should be a noticeble speed up (e.G. CS Go) in others (e.G. GTA V ) only in margin of error
So did anybody upgraded from 3600x to 5600x or similar upgrade.

Re: Ryzen 3000 vs Ryzen 5000 any experience
I did not the change but I could guess the improvements to be noticeably. SCS games are limited by the single core performance and the difference between those 2 Ryzen generation was huge.
Despite this, I would not recommend to do that change. Ryzens 3000 aren't as old ones, they are perfectly capable CPU to last a few more years. And the AM4 platform ends with the Ryzen 5000 series, so you would be investing on a dead end. I would rather to remain on the 3000, squeeze all that you could from it and change to future AM5 platforms once the were more mature (specially once DDR will be more settled, stable, with better performance and cheaper).
Regards

I upgraded from a ryzen 3600 to a ryzen 5600x a while ago, but saw little to no improvement in my ETS2 performance. It could be different for you though, that was just my outcome.
