Um... that is the whole purpose of this entire section of the forums; to report issues with translations and what the correct translation is.

No, the purpose of this section of the forum is to report wrong translations (hence the name "Wrong translations"). All translating is done by volunteers, and new strings are constantly added for translation. As long as noone has come around and translated a certain string, it will turn up in it's original English state in game, rather than removing the entire language from the game.

Translators always have access to all untranslated strings, and don't need posts on the forum to see what is not translated.

Well, strictly technically speaking, the English wording is a "wrong translation", as it is not the correct one.
The original poster noticed that and provided the correct translation (I assume; I don't know Russian). I fail to see the issue here.

The issue is that for most languages, there are at any given time hundreds of untranslated strings. These appear on the top of the list for translators, and a report here will not provide anything of use. Furthermore, if all untranslated strings should be reported here, it would flood the forums, and the whole report system would be useless.

If people can report untranslated words and provide the correct translation, that alone can help the translators by providing them with the right translation in case they didn't already know it.
