Is world of trucks worth it ?
So should i link up my profile to world of truck and do the job work with a profile with mods in it ?
Re: Is world of trucks worth it ?
define worth? Registering is only thing to do
events are tied to it, you can see online logs, and my most favorite thing that I don't have to press the pedal to catch up, because you can go slow and still do the jobs.

Re: Is world of trucks worth it ?
yes, you can, it is not multiplayer
only restriction is 90 km/h limit.

If you wish to take WoTr jobs (External Contracts), all other mods except map mods should work fine. IMO, there's no point linking a profile to WoTr which has map mods in it.
Re: Is world of trucks worth it ?
I've been doing pretty much nothing but external contracts for the past month and a half. Literally just completed my 91st delivery in that span.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

Same here, only external contracts. I have fatigue turned off so I don't have to sleep when the game wants me to.
That does not mean I don't sleep, it means that I sleep whenever it suits me (usual around 10 pm every night).
But turning off fatigue also means that I usually have 8 hours less to deliver my cargo on internal contracts, but on external contract, I have many IRL hours to do my trip.
So external contracts give me more time to sleep and to explore the map at a pace I like.

I'm probably going to continue just doing externals.

Can you use warp? That 90 km/h limit is why I never bothered with it. It feels like slo-mo to me...

I'm doing only WoT jobs for more than a year. I never had a delayed job so I really don't think "urgent deliveries" are a challenge, higher pay for "fragile" doesn't mean anything because I make enough money, so there's nothing more attractive for me in Freight Market. At least External Contracts give me a greater variety and some nice stats.
The stats might not be a plus, tho, because can be a harsh reminder you're a lifeless loser like me.
1105 JOBS ACCOMPLISHED, 20,137 t MASS TRANSPORTED, 1,568,871 km TOTAL DISTANCE.
Sigh...
