Hello,
i just bought a new gaming computer and now i was wondering what kind of monitor are you guys using or which one you would choose for playing ets2?
I'm thinking about a 4K monitor or an ultra-wide one with 21:9. Which one is better for ETS2 and performance or for future?
Which monitor for ETS?

Re: Which monitor for ETS?
Hi, i 'm currently using the Asus VG248QE Gaming monitor. I would prefer and ultrawide monitor, but it depends on what you 're doing besides Ets2. If you have a productivity setup, go with the ultrawide, if you use your setup for gaming only go with the 4k i think. But before you buy the 4k, make sure your pc is strong enough

Re: Which monitor for ETS?
thanks for your reply!
I think the computer should be strong enough with a GTX1080 ti , but i'm not sure how ets2 looks on a 4K monitor, or how some 1080p games look on it. Maybe someone has experiences with it?

I've seen some 4K images and it looks great, what's your price range?Fuerstensohn wrote: ↑14 Dec 2017 15:58 thanks for your reply!

Re: Which monitor for ETS?
If you play mostly cars/trucks games, ultrawide can be a must.
If it's a mix of fps, ETS... 1440p would do.
4k is useful for big screens, but I think is too much for a 27-30 inches screen.
A fast screen (100-144 hz) with gsync or freesync would be prefered, for a "smooth" experience.
I have a dell S2716G with a GTX1080ti, runs ETS2/ATS at 100fps or so constantly.

@dede62
thank you! It's a very difficult decision because before i had a iMac 5K which had a great picture but i couldn't play games on it...
Ultrawide does look really really nice but i'd like to have also a good quality for movies etc. on my Computer.
