Engine Sound Problem

#1 Post by letuandk » 05 Jan 2018 15:32

Whenever I am stopped at a red light, my truck idles at around 5,000 RPM or so according to the gauge. When I accelerate the truck's RPM dips down to 0 RPM, engine sound cuts off, and then I start to accelerate and the sound comes back normal. I am using the Logitech Attack 3 Joystick which has a little throttle on it. I thought this might be the issue, but then I tried with the keyboard, and the issue persisted. Doesn't matter what gear I am in.

I have no mods installed. I'm happy to make a video if it's hard to understand what I'm saying.

Also, maybe this is just a mechanic in the game, maybe it's just how the trucks work? Not sure.

Truck engines don't go up to 5,000 rpm,it would be screaming!

video would be helpful anyway.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.
