1.40 Germany Map Explore Issue

Hi,

I have been missed if this topic is written before. With 1.40, some locations on Germany Map seem unexplored even that there are explored before. I have to re-explore. Is someone has the same issue as me?

If roads are renewed, you have to re-explore these. Every stage of the Germany Rebuild (1.32, 1.35, 1.40) had a lot of renewed roads. Simple as that.

Further than that, every major release will update some small road pieces here and there on the maps and these will become unexplored.

When ETS2 has an update with tracks, roads, and streets resigned o renewed, your location save data will be usually deleted for that kilometers.

No, you also have some spots in French city Dijon to reexplore!

your location save data will be usually deleted

FWIW it doesn't work like that. The information in your save doesn't change but the changed map items get a new unique id which gets added to the saves list of discovered road pieces when you drive through each item.

For those looking to get back to 100% exploration you may find the following elements, which are somewhat outside of the main reworked areas and which are not visible unless zoomed right in on the map, useful:

. the player garage in Innsbruck

. the truck dealer in Dusseldorf

. junction outside Tree-ET in Frankfurt, completely covered by the company icon

. three tiny road pieces outside gates in Stuttgart city centre, two of them on the eastern side of the easternmost road running north to south (with no yards but behind the recruitment agency and the bus station) and the other on the western side just south of the LKW yard

. several small road pieces, including two fuel stations, on the back roads S of Strasbourg (to collect them all drive south out of Strasbourg, turn left (east) onto the back road into Germany. Follow that road, ignoring a turning to the right and just after you cross the A81 autobahn and before reaching the junction to join it, turn left and follow that road, ignoring a right turn, until you reach France and cross the A35)

. the truck dealer in Bordeaux

. small road piece at eastern end of border crossing from Hungary to Romania, E of Szeged

and it may also be worth noting the truly obvious, that the whole of the Dortmund area has reverted to undiscovered, including the recruitment agency and truck dealer that hide behind their icons

What about small piece north of Vyborg - RUS (highway intersection)? I'm not sure if this is from last or previous update/s?
