Mountain Home is best as scenery town at most. Idaho to open it up the space Mountain Home may not even needed. Boise has truck stops as does Twin Falls I like less dense map with Idaho and less populated states. Idaho should be tad as dense as New Mexico. Idaho I-84 is scrubland scenery and a lot of farms.
fra_ba, nice rest stop!fra_ba wrote: ↑27 Jun 2019 04:32If scs wants more content in Idaho MH could be a functional town! maybe some farming and construction Depot and a walbert coulb be placed! It also may work as a scenic town with the truck stop like Baker City in Oregon
In regards to discussion about size of truck stops, some of dot rest areas are even bigger than a medium sized truck stop we have in game! For example check out Bliss rest area in Idaho! Having these kind of buildings would be great
I started to wonder.... where is the fuel pumps?
IF Mountain Home fits, then there will be delivery options on ID-51, farming etc.
Due to Boise. Boise can not be a . on a map, it will take some space.
Even less space for Mountain Home, if Nampa is added.
Would I like to have Mountain Home ingame?
Yes. Will it fit? maybe? maybe not.
If only I-84, exit 95, then my guess would be yes.
If I-84, exit 95 and exit 90. Maybe, maybe not.
Can SCS mappers do magic?
But they can do quite amazing things.
Why do I even write about Mountain Home?
Due to the truck stop?
More because of US-20
I am willing to bet Nampa will be represented as an extension of Boise. Especially if it has a landmark worthy of the game. It will be the Western part of Boise. I-84 for the most part will be where all the action is. Hopefully we get some really good US and State highways running thru the state.
There are some interesting road options in Idaho.
Now that's starting to look like a good map. Idaho completes a significant piece of the puzzle. I have to agree with the Montana extension though. Without it, we basically get nothing for extending I-90. Between boxing up Idaho with US-93 or I-15, we really need to get something into Montana. I never considered boxing up Idaho with US-93 instead of I-15. It leaves most of Montana intact for the Montana dlc, I like what ads678 has done. That road map works well the what it is illustrated. I know some of you don't like going into Montana but the panhandle of Idaho needs as much help as it can get to get East a little more. Just that little stretch of I-90 and US-93 along with providing Missoula with Idaho should be the meal ticket for the Idaho dlc. I put my stamp of approval on this map, lol.
