UV issue regarding a model. [SOLVED]
Hi.
I have created some stuff for the game.
Feel that i have tried everything due to uv and that part.
But the model takes the base color and not the uv mapping.
Think i have done everything right, 2 separate, yet the same uv mapping with different name,
I have set the UV_1 as "main" and UV_0 as "second" some sort.
Any clue of what i can do to get the model to take the uv, and implement it with the accessory paint scheme in game?
Instead of it to take the base color?
This is the setup i have now, straight basic truckpaint, in the tools materials menu.

P.s. I have also tried these options/setup;
Colormask, altuv, airbrush, dif.spec etc.. but there is something strange here.

Re: UV issue regarding a model.
it needs to be UV_0, UV_1 and UV_2 or else you will get strange results with DX11
and did you also make a skin that applies to it ? because if no skin is there then ofc only the base color will change

@xXCARL1992Xx Oh, ok. But off course, by base i mean just a simple color, not that i see the skin from the truck on the model.
example; when you have a metallic setup for your skin, you can change 3 colors (Red, White, Blue). And it's that Red color the model has taken.
And yes i have made a skin that applies to the model.

I tried with the airbrush, but then the model got a mor greyish red color. and now is subtle, not able to change color scheme.
Re: UV issue regarding a model.
are you try airbrush: true in paint_job definition (+ paintjob mask location) ? or just in BT material section ?

Re: UV issue regarding a model.
I added it just in the BT section.
Have been checking other mods, and they all have several automat folders.
Mine has only one.. guess it's right..
Just a second thought, maybe it's easier to use the dif.spec?
Or just stay with it as it is?!

Re: UV issue regarding a model.
the automat folder just stores the material, if your model has only one you will get only one in it
but now a bit clearer pls. do you want to see a skin ingame, or do you want to see it on the model in blender to work on it like in this picture?

ok. yes i want to see the skin in game, not only for working on in blender.
Cause now as you have noticed it's just plane color or greyish for that matter.

Re: UV issue regarding a model. [SOLVED]
ok, can you post an image of the template ?
or better yet, you made a separat one for it or integrated it into the one from the cab of the truck ?
if you have a separat one you need to point the skin to it with the new paint system
