Realistic Rain v4.7.1 [15/12/2023]

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Realistic Rain v2.7 is ready 
Changelog:
- Minor tweaks for Windshield effects (all versions)
- Added version: Realistic Rain LITE for NaturaLux (ETS2)
- The "Smoke" file is removed, is not necesary in last version of NL (ETS2)
Tested with :
ETS2 1.35 & 1.36
ATS 1.35 & 1.36
Download available in the first post.
Changelog:

Yes, the Steam version was updated a few hours ago, but does not include the versions for NaturaLux.

The v3.0 version has been reworked almost completely
Changelog v3.0:
- New textures of rain drops for the windshield & windows (inside cabin)
- New textures of rain drops for outside view
- New sounds of Rain (inside cabin & outside view)
- New adjusts for windshield effects
- Better quality and new Thunders sounds
- More thunders sounds (for the future)
- Adjust sound level
v3.0 is ready for download on first post, also available in workshop steam
I would like to see some screenshots or videos of you!

thank you, @Darkcaptain ! I will start using your mod as from today! until now I did not like the rain at all because it always came with huge drop for me, but in 1.36 an Dx11 I get really good FPS with high traffic and rain and lights on too! so it's time to improved rain ! I will take the Steam version for both games

Any feedback will be welcome, if any user take some captures it will be appreciated, with permission, I can place in the first post, also steam, and maybe in the future on the loading screens of the game

feedback yes, of course when I start driving, you know how busy I am with the sound mod updates and emergency packs that also need updates... as for pictures or videos I am not the right man for this, I barely make pictures and videos are never edited because of lack of time...

Cip, continue with your mods that are very hard work and are essential, but more importantly enjoy the game, family and Christmas
