Unrealistic Engine Sounds [NOT A BUG]
Unrealistic Engine Sounds [NOT A BUG]
All the current engine sounds in the 1.37 beta are not realistic. Just listen to some of the videos below and see what i mean.
Come on SCS I know you can do better.

Re: Unrealistic Engine Sounds
Hi,
It’s beta and first phase of implementation fmod to our games. With future updates all sounds will be improved.

ETS2 and ATS translator.
Re: Unrealistic Engine Sounds
@Vlad (ua) but i think this was foreseen, it´s a complete new soundmod. there will be a lot of work to do. As @Odomreece mentioned almost everything of the sounds are not real, in none of the trucks.
But i really looking forward how do they develop/increase this new mod because the enviornment sound has definitely increased also the changing sound if you open and close the windows. And we all should not forget how the game looked at 2012. From my point of view this
is the BEST journey of developing a game with the developers what i have ever had. So please SCS keep it up

I will say that some sounds are really good now like the switch sounds and the indicators. AS Vlad said this is the first phase and i'm sure sounds will get better.
Re: Unrealistic Engine Sounds [NOT A BUG]
While the quality of the new added trucks has improved significantly compared to the standard of the older trucks (such as the Range T, MAN TGX E6 and the new Scanias) I will admit I am not satisfied with the engine sounds at all.
There were times when I was using the original sounds and I was thinking, "it's really not that bad". However, after hearing Kriechbaum's version of the same sound, I realized that the standard sounds are not very good.

Re: Suoni motore non realistici [NOT A BUG]
@Andrei_JZX100 I agree perfectly with you !!!
The noises of the truck engines inside the cabin are almost non-existent.
On the other hand, all the other sounds are heard, like the rain etc …
For me this is a contradiction.
p.s: I would have preferred the seasons to have been added instead of the windows with external sounds. honestly on a truck simulator, I would have given priority to the seasons, with snow, ice etc. etc., maybe even with the respective driving problems.
Having said that, I hope the next step is to improve the engine sound and that seasons will be added soon.
do not be angry, mine was only a criticism that I hope will be constructive, also because I can imagine how much work there is behind all this.
Thank you all and good job.

Re: Unrealistic Engine Sounds [NOT A BUG]
I really liked the game update, but about the engine sound, it could have stayed exactly as it was in 1.36. I was disappointed when I heard the Scania S engine sound, now when the engine is at 1500 rpm it seems to be at 2000 rpm, there is no more synchronism than before. For me, the Scania S engine sound was the most beautiful of the game before FMOD. I hope that in the next updates of 1.37 the engine sound of the trucks, especially Scania S, will be better and more pleasant as it was before.

Keep calm, guys. At the moment, in the game beta process, I promise the game will be better in the coming days. How do I know this? As far as I understand from what you wrote, you have not participated in the beta process of ATS. ATS 1.37 was a wreck when it was first released, but it was incredibly beautiful after a 45-day fix. Be patient, Scs will do the best for us. And have fun.
