Lately I noticed that ATS still has a fork for version 1.3, so I've been playing that. It's actually very interesting to see it again and remember what the game used to be like. Things like every other Interstate intersection having a Tonopah junction, incredibly short routes, and a generally more "retro" feel are... not necessarily positives, but they're very interesting to experience, briefly, from a distance, knowing that there's a better version of the map about five clicks away. (Though I'd be lying if I said parts of it didn't make me nostalgic, especially the weird little road between Barstow and I-10.) For all the crap the base map (usually rightfully) gets, it's still impressive that they've even managed to make it that good compared to what was present initially -- it almost feels like going from ETS1 to ETS2. Which if nothing else makes you appreciate the modern version a lot more.

One thing I found particularly funny is that the VNL is compatible with it.

I'll probably go back to 1.38 soon but it's a neat experience.

Shame you can't use WoTr on old branches, would be such a good way for me to get my journey to the moon achievement and the 1m km one. xD

Regarding WoT, @Mohegan13, where I can report a possible bug with WoT, not the game itself?

We have this subforum, is this OK? If yes, maybe the old game version should be removed and the subforum should be named just "Bugs"?
I have approximate knowledge of many things

Anywhere in the WoTr section will do I guess. But I'm not sure anyone looks in there.
