@flight50, all of those would be fantastic. If you haven't, go check out the Heavy Haul sub-forum at The Trucker's Report. They have a "post your big loads here" thread with all kinds of goodies.

Deliveries like that 50 sure would spice up ATS. Wishful thinking tho.

I've hauled ass down the road to deliver new cars and trucks, fuel, freight, and produce. Now I'm addicted to ATS doing the same thing in a simulation.

Yeah I am stoked about cargo. I don't think we can ever have to much. I love variety but I'd rather SCS make it. Whether I pay or not is the last of my worries. At least I know SCS cargo isn't going anywhere for the most part. Lots of mods are abandoned that I depended on for immersion on for variety. Thats why I have gone to more of a vanilla gameplay on my main profile but created another profile for all mods I like. So when those mods are not updated, I won't be all sour, lol.

Of the thousands of cargo out there hauled, there could be only 10-15% in ATS. Be it ST, flatbed or van or any other cargo for that matter, I like to get it exposed to the devs. You just never know what ideas or inspiration they can have. It challenges them, motivates them and most of all, lets them know, we love what they do and we want more of it. High moral I suppose. In the end, they are rewarded with cash flow. A nice trade of if you ask me.

Just something I found online whilst browsing and I feel like it would be a good idea to post it here:

I was actually looking for details on lights and flags on the cargo as I feel that there is not really any on the cargos in ATS ST currently.

I remember watching a documentary about guys who did special transports across multiple states, to deliver Wind Turbines elements. They had to respect tight schedules to avoid trains and to get across some cities at the right time.

Always thought that would be awesome to have in ATS. Tight schedules, long trips, who knows, even heavy hauls convoys (with AI?)
