[REL] ProMods: Canada v1.2.4 updates and discussion

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

@Trucker_71 Nah we for sure like a challenge. It wouldn't make any sense to not make Sumas tbh, abbotsford is right above it and it's one (maybe the) coolest border in the area we cover. I've tested the whole stretch and it's very nice to drive it. Hope you will like it when you drive too😉

And it's already finished (besides the signs) so we are not gonna rip it apart 😛

I'll use the Sumas border for sure. I am more curious how ProMods chose to connect to Washington though. Did they connect to I-5, WA-539 or WA-9 to get to these crossings. SCS didn't leave a lot of good room with Bellingham, the way that curve was made throws things off. If I had to guess, the perfect way to get to Canada from Bellingham is taking WA-539 off that huge curve SCS put in the game. From there we get get Blaine, Aldergrove and Sumas. Depending on where in Canada we need to go, will determine which of the Western border crossings we go. I am sure the only other v1.0 crossing we get is the Orovile-Osoyoos crossing unless trucks aren't allowed to cross there.

Orovile-Osoyoos is good to go, I've crossed there a few times in a truck. ;)

Sounds good. I hope Canada v1.0 is ready by the time 1.39 arrives with Colorado. That will be a lot of map available for me. I don't use C2C nor Canada dreams. Until Viva is rebuild, I won't use Mexico maps either. So its all ProMods and a select few US maps I will use. But my excitement purely lies with ProMods. To be part of this team, you have to do pretty nice work. Nice an consistent work to where the same quality level appears to all be on team, not multiple teams. That's what I like.

they seem to space the states out about 4-5 months apart if not more

Pavel said that he's not sure we'll see Colorado this year because of COVID.

Agreed. Colorado could indeed be 1.40. Either way, I am hoping ProMods Canada gets out before the next ATS map releases.
