Truck Camera Distance for ETS2 v2021.12.19

This package contains the Truck Camera Distance for ETS2 v2021.12.19 mod.

When you drive without a trailer attached, the distance of the outside
camera behind the truck is too short. As a result scenery far away is
difficult to see. With this mod the camera is put at a greater distance
behind the truck.

Version History:
v1.00: Initial version.
v1.35: Truck camera distance for trucks with trailer attached is now
the same as the camera distance without trailer attached.
v1.37: Stereo_convergence deleted. Top view camera adjusted, so it is easier to manoeuver with long and/or oversized trailers.
v1.38: Extention .sii changed to .sui. Bumper Camera height adjusted; it's now located at eye level.
v2021.12.19: Version number changed.

I've just uploaded the v1.38 version of the Truck Camera Distance mod.

N.B. As I have just moved to ETS2 v1.37 and also installed a lot of mods, I'm not planning to move to ETS2 v1.38 soon, because most of those mods might take some time before they will work in ETS2 v1.38. Therefore I've adjusted my mod, based on the version for ATS v1.38.2. And now the most important part: this also means that I have not tested this newest version of Truck Camera Distance for ETS2 in v1.38.

But it should work...

And if for whatever reason it doesn't work, I guess you'll let me know.

Is it possible to change the distance of the camera with the mouse wheel, like some other mods do ?


I used "LARGER CAMERA" until i recently switched from 1.37 to 1.38, when that Mod stopped working. Maybe this can be a replacement.
