Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Volvo VNX is a truck focused on heavy haul work. I may be mistaken but I think it is not used for normal haul work.
ATS and ETS2 is Hella nice!

But we've got HH, ST, logging etc. in the game.

The Volvo VNR660 trim option added in October 2019, looks like a mix of regional haul and long haul.

Most big fleets ran the 670. Owner operators normally went for the 780. Pre new VNL of course. Don't know the new VNL model numbers off top of my head.
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
I feel that if we get a second truck besides the new VNL, it would be the VNX because that has more differences than the VNR does.
The VNX has a day cab, flat roof, and a midroof for the sleeper options and a tri-drive axle which fits with the heavy haul jobs we currently have.
The VNR is mostly a smaller and lighter weight VNL to help with overall weight/length limits in regional work.
Plus, the VNX could work if they decided to expand other brands into heavy haul configurations.

Never knew the VNX even existed. Goes to show how much I keep up with newer trucks.
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Looks like a nice addition to the game.
Cab seems to be the same on 2018 truck.Larry71490 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020 21:05 Most big fleets ran the 670. Owner operators normally went for the 780. Pre new VNL of course. Don't know the new VNL model numbers off top of my head.
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
@Marcello Julio perhaps it's worth adding the VNX to your poll and first post? I know that there hasn't been mention of ATS including heavy haul trucks, but it could give them an idea of what fans would like included in the game somewhere down the road.
Personally, heavy haul trucks are definitely something I'd like to see in game once the all current standard highway trucks are accounted for.

The new Volvo VNL has the 780, but the top of the line configuration with the dinette is now called the VNL 860 on the new truck.
