While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Yes, this is how they are in Denmark and exact how my Dad's truck'n'trailer was.

And this picture is from Holland btw, so I guess it's the same in that country.
gesture1968 wrote: 29 Jul 2020 10:36 My question is therefore, could you move the coupling more to the back of the chassis, or perhaps add an optional feature to have trucks with couplings more to the back?
No, that will not happen as I then have 27 tandem trailers and 63 drawbar trailers to edit/adjust as well, and again, this rig is build as we have them here in Denmark. :D

Just as I suspected @Flemming V the unit is modeled on a central European design, not a Nordic spec outfit

this mod is great as it is :) FlemmingV did an amazing work with this mod and also Kast did an amazing work with his tandem mods :)
They gave us two great tandem systems that SCS unfortunately doesn't give us :?
why do users always want to use two different mods together :?: :?:
is it so hard to play two great mods on two different profiles and enjoying both? ;)

I have great pleasure using this mod with the containers

thing is, they would have the same cube whether the short or long box.

Perhaps @Flemming V could make the BIC markings a template feature for the container at some stage, so all we have to do is type the 11 digit BIC code with the Tare and Cube details already there, that way they would appear ONLY on the containers rather than being a feature of the cool liner and Profiliner - then we'd just need to ensure that we made our skins accordingly, leaving room for the BIC codes on the sides and the markings on the back doors.

Hi Guys,

Its probably all due to me but Ifind this mod hard to use.
I mean i can get it to work on my truck but I can only use the trailer an box in white.
How do I apply a paintjob to the box and trailer?

LOL, I don't want you to change all the trailers, that would be maddness :D

Perhaps I should explain my thoughts a bit more: your mod works perfectly and it's just great and that's why I would like to use it. The only but is in the fact that it only can be used with ownable trailers, and as said I have some issues with that. Therefore I also use the Ekeri Tandem mod because it (besides ownable) can also be used as in-game trailers (that does not have the ownable trailer issues). So my main direction is using a rigid truck with in-game company trailers. This boils down to two possibilites:

1. Your truck(s) have an option to change the position of the coupling (like an accessoiry when buying or upgrading the truck) so the in-game Ekeri Tandem trailers can be used (your trailers are then not used, so they don't need changing)
2. Your trailers are added as in-game trailers, that would be the most neat feature (although I don't know how much work/time this will cost you)

Regards
Gesture
