[UPD] Coast to Coast Map - v2.15.49.2 (28 Jan)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Considering all this is part of an unreleased DLC that you have to pay for, I don't think legally anything can be done. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only reason they are even in C2C is so you can see what's going on, not really meant for driving.

The cooperation between some mod makers seems very bad if I count all the problems. I stopped temperary with ATS 1.38. Had 3 undelivered transports .
I blame SCS very hard for all the errors they are making.
[Removed one (1) sentence]
The only thing is SCS is using mod makers for their own advantage

If you have used the editor you would know that the more people that touch a map, the more issues it causes. even scs has that issue which is why they cannot put a bunch of people on map making; it is harmful.
I know when i was redoing parts of C2C whenever mantrid got a new cluster by somebody and put it in or whenever he randomly changed a sign somewhere it will cause complete chaos on my pieces whenever i got the latest build. eventually it became so corrupted even he couldnt sort it out.
Right now c2c is being touched by a lot of people and he generally only ensures the sections he is given look right and doesnt cause the mod to crash the game. he doesnt go pixel by pixel and study for errors..
Now that you know that, you can understand why. While more contributors is good, there should be a better process to ensure interoperability, especially when people work at their own paces and others works do affect yours

@ilovevolvo That's why you communicate with the others working on a map mod and provide them with the sectors you worked on that are along the edges of your area. That way they can work on the edges of their area and make them match.

I have a suggestion for a few roundabouts to be added to some roads in GA. Im not sure if it can be done or not.
Here is the link that shows roundabout locations if it can be done. http://www.dot.ga.gov/DS/Alternative/Roundabouts
I wanna say with every update this map keeps getting better and better! Love your work!!

Re: [UPD] Coast to Coast Map - v2.11.7 (UPD 31 Jul)
I've already created roundabouts in Georgia within this map; look at US 1 just outside of Metter on both ends near I-16. I've also added a roundabout in South Carolina along SR 28 just north of Augusta, and I've added a roundabout at the business center in Ohatchee, AL just west of Atlanta.

nah blackstpots it was a personal project in areas that mantrid said he would never touch again
but ended up touching.. and the editor didnt like that. it ran fine in game, just couldnt be edited any more
it started as a quick project to remove the 10000000000 trees 10 miles from the road (for performance reasons) in several areas and vegetation changes to take advantage of the new DLCs but it went on from there.
the only other people touching things i had issues with was ways after mantrid put some of his new clusters in the working update (the weekly builds after each stream). but those werent what broke it. it was a mix of mantrid's work on chattanooga AND him going randomly along roads and changing the curvature on areas i already had done (on my end, because he said multiple times he wont ever go there himself beyond what was already done). something somewhere the game didnt like. nobody could fix the linkage errors and editor crashes upon deletion attempts of said duplicate items
