Colorado Discussion Thread
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Yeahhhh, that's it. I couldn't think of that name for nothing, lol. Thanks Tails. I'd really like to see some of the more commons LTL carriers make their way to ATS along with some common food distributors. That adds just that much more realism.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
@flight50 oh you are talking about the delivery vans.
I consider Sell Goods, Phoenix Freight, and Portland Cargo to be a warehouse for all types of freight.
I don't think Charged is a parody of Best Buy but more so a parody Amazon in a sense.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Charged should actually be 2 companies just like a lot of companies in ATS. Charged does have a retail building that looks like Best Buy. But yeah Charged the warehouse is like Amazon or any other distribution center. Its just real small to be a distribution center for a national chain. Those others are general Logistics but I'd still rather see a ton of bulk cargo go into them and tons of mixed cargo come out of them. A little better organizing of freight on SCS's behalf could fix that. ATS could really use an abundance of distribution centers. Food/Furniture/Auto Parts/Home Improvements......if we are getting specific manufacturers of a certain line of products, those manufactures don't necessarily go straight to retail. In fact most don't go straight to retail. Retail orders from distribution centers. I am not sure if Colorado will introduce this or if ATS in general will ever get that specific, but its definitely more realistic to how North America runs and how trucks distribute product across the NA.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
it would be nice to have some grocery stores in this game for delivering food to.
like to explore new areas of maps for both ATS and ETS2.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
I agree we need more facilities for the end dump besides coastline mining. Farms come to mind hauling fertilizer and grain.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Well we need fertilizer plants to start with. We have fertilizer in the game but it just magically appears. We need some of the big players of NA in the game like CF Industries, Mosaic Company, Intrepid Potash and Terra Nitrogen. We get them and we have somewhere the mining companies can take their product. We are suppose to go from raw materials, to processing, to manufacturing then retail. We are missing the processing part on many things.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
@flight50 also can add Kinder Morgan to the list as well.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
I have Kinder on my personal list for something else. But I have it under oil/gas. They are actually a Fortune 500 and is based in Texas.
