Well, this is not what I call proper 'backward compatibility'. Adding code which implements existing functionality a bit differently without touching anything else, is more like 'quick and dirty' solution. And yes, it is possible to do it fast this way. BUT such so called 'solutions' are exactly what makes the code messy after a few years. And cleaning up the code takes time. Just think how many years we have to work with the same code.

I am fine with the country spawn, once I set it for my vehicles, I no longer care about, but it's true there is not much of control on it. if I change a spawn ratio for an Ai sometimes I forget that I need to check also the countries spawn luckily that we have notepad++
what I would like to see in the game is a kind of country traffic multiplicator set in the country traffic.sii or directly in the country file as override rule to ensure mod compatibility. the default value could be 1 and starting from 0 (no traffic) and 2 (double). this should affect the spawn frequency and count and if set to lower traffic shall not touch the minimum values 0.01 for frequency and 1 for count.
as traffic complaints since mjack is back, I can highlight that Ai still stop at green for 1-2 seconds at ATS roadworks also somebody noticed an improvement in local roads Ai overtaking, I did not, sorry...

@Vojta & SiSL - It would be helpful if SCS would also allow us to change custom colours applied to the terrain by map makers, this is particularly useful for winter mods as you can see from the image below, the right side of the image is a custom terrain colour that at present can't be changed, this type of colouring occurs all over the newer parts of both the ETS2 and ATS maps since the brush tool was introduced a few versions ago. At the moment the terrain_color.sii def file only allows us to change predefined colours.

FMOD first issues in ETS2, in high traffic environment with lots of traffic sounds around, my truck's sound started to cut off. I am wondering if the priority that we can set in the master track in FMOD set to highest would help. I would prefer of course that in case of FMOD incapable to play all sounds to keep the sound of the truck and cut off some other environment sounds inclusively some traffic sounds if needed...
