@MatzMan its not wrong... @donfede are using a 3 letter abbreviation:

List: 3-letter country abbreviation ISO-3166-1 ALPHA-3
ISO 3166 ALPHA-3 Country
DNK Denmark

If it’s 3 letters atleast it should be DEN as all other countries has first three lestters from the english Reading of the country. Just saying.

Denmark is DNK, nobody cares what some TV station displays, it is an international standard (ISO_3166-1_alpha-3) wich gives abbreviation to countries and Denmark is DNK like Germany is DEU, Sweden is SWE, Portugal PRT, Italy ITA or France is FRA, the alternativ is DK, DE, SE, PT, IT or FR (ISO_3166-1_alpha-2)

@Bocaj like Carl said, this list follow ISO rule... DEN its a informal abbreviation from TV to soccer/football matches and dont follow this ISO list... So, for our ranking, following ISO rules, Denmark is DNK.

Consider this if Austria play Australia is it AUS vs AUS?
