Truck falling over

#1 Post by Ysonba2k » 24 Aug 2020 10:22

I've played different types of trucks and it always falls over. I'm not a bad driver and Im good at the curvy roads. Even in my little speed (max 70-80) for that roads. It collapses. I currently drive with Volvo Fh 600 hp. I used to drive with Mercedes Actros. I have the same problem on both. What is the tip to prevent this collapses? Or is the problem related to trucks?

I don't think it's specifically those trucks, as I've managed to roll other models as well. It's sometimes affected by trailers though- construction machinery is often very top-heavy, which exacerbates the issue. The best thing you can do is try to straight-line the corner where possible (take the racing line if you know what I mean), and take them a bit slower still. If you feel the truck starting to tip over, lift off the throttle and steer the other way until it lands.

Adjust the stability in game options
But first off all slow down in curves a truck is not a race car

Can some of you send your truck & trailer stability via photo. I checked the video, it helped me but I still feel something's wrong.

Frnk64's mod should help because it has some of an Anti-Roll System but remember that the mod has a problem. If you were in a roll over note that there is chance for your truck to start shake violently for a few seconds, unless you use save game files you would have a couple extra thousand euros to pay.

It seems to be mods are making my game slower so i use only one mod. I cant download mods. I need to set it up through Gameplay Options.
