I don't think that companies will allow to share one single DLC for all. Also, I think -presume- that SCS works using agile/scrum framework, so that is kinda against it haha. 1 DLC per brand or even, 1 DLC per truck is easier.

We were just joking about getting all those trucks at once, lol. Definitely one brand per dlc worse case. But each ATS truck will be its own dlc as seen on Steam and in our game files. Our game files has each truck as separate. Even the 579 and the T680 that came with the game day one are separate. Yet they are both Paccar trucks.

If somehow we got the new WS, the 5700 (Shredder) and the 4900 (Pico Wine) then each would be its own dlc. If we got the new WS, the new Cascadia (Shredder) and the old Cascadia (Pico Wine) then that is still 3 different dlcs but two are from Freightliner, but they are all Daimler trucks regardless. From the same company, I don't see a company remotely caring about a spotlight. That is 3 models under one roof. 3 models is better than one. It increases the chances of someone liking it. Out of 3 trucks, that increases the chances of someone picking up ATS and playing non stop for weeks. 1 truck, some will be like ehhhh, I'll wait.

About the release and what time it will be in Prague.Since ATS trucks are considered DLCs,can their release be programmed to a certain time of the day?Like if SCS office is closed,the truck can be released automatically.

Excellent question. I never thought of that and I am sure others haven't either. They can so do that. Considering WS is Pacific time and so far behind SCS, the devs can have this truck ready for release at a set time indeed. Us in the Western Hemisphere can play with it for 4-6 hrs and report things. Other are sleep but that's just how it is. By the time day breaks on Prague, SCS will be back to fix anything reported just as gamers in the Eastern Hemisphere awake to play. That's a great thought man. That is how you do the "shortly after". Otherwise it releases the next day (30th) best case. We'd have no choice but to wait if not on the 29th but why keep people waiting if you have it ready to go.

Actually, that's a good point. The forum crashed a few times the day the Mack Anthem released because there were over three thousand users online, creating the current record of most users simultaneously online ever. I wonder if that is going to happen again when the Western Star releases. Could the Western Star create a new record and possibly break the forum again?

Yeah tell me about it. I couldn't slide in to comment about the Anthem for nothing, lol. Every time I tried, there were 2-3 new post and I could never get my comment added. That sucked royally. I am not sure how many are into this new WS but the 5700/4900, new Cascadia and the old Cascadia will definitely crash the sever. For our sake, if those other 2 files are trucks, I hope SCS reveals them one by one like now, lol. If both those files just so happen to be trucks have the new break about both on the same day, we might as well not log in for the day. That type of news for a multiple truck releases for ATS will smash the old record and smoke the servers. I hope SCS prepared properly this time. History always repeats itself.

If the Anthem crashed the server, image what Daimler trucks will do to this server.

@supersobes : someone once said that the user count this day might have bugged(and for some reason,the count is valid),because of the forum crash(or was it something else).
For some reason,i think i agree with the fact it might have bugged.
