upgrade or downgrade from my current version?

Hi,

Today, when opening the Steam client I received a notification to update ETS2 but I want confirmation that the latest version, the current one, is now really 1.38.1.8?

I make this request because the game screen showed a message that a downgrade was being made to an older version (this in English). Unfortunately, when I trying to take the screen from this screen, nothing was saved because Steam had not determined a folder to save them.

There was an update for some silly Renault Range T Paint job that downgraded the game, idk if there was more to it, but it seems silly to downgrade a game just for a paint job.

The version number has gone backwards, from v1.38.1.12 to v1.38.1.8, but from the data files the additional content for .12 has not been removed so it looks like only the textual version that has reverted (caveat: that is only based on map and .sii/.sui data not on the graphical assets)

This version contains everything from 1.38.1.12, but there might be 4 old bugs remaining from the past or this is a separate branch. I think someone from SCS can answer this question better.

They've now pushed a newer version. 1.38.1.15
