California is also base map and old less detailed models too. That file size can change. Until Colorado releases, its not set in stone.

I'm not saying that Colorado is smaller than Oregon.I'm saying that the size in MB will depend not only on the size of the state.
If you put a lot of things in a state,or another DLC...it will of course increase the size in MB.That and i guess the detail of what's in the DLCs.

Oregon has 90MIB and Utah has 101MIB?

Not exactly. It depends on the road network in a state and with that the city layout. Sq miles/Sq km is not the same as total area. The area of a state means nothing because SCS is not mapping the entire state. They only map select roads in a state. Its all about the road network and the city status..what will SCS do. Take Wyoming for instance. Its basically the size of Colorado. Yet it has less roads and less large cities. Wyoming is wide open sparsely developed. Its spread out like Oregon, Utah and Nevada with huge gaping holes in the map.

Look at Montana and compare it to Kansas. Montana is a much larger state area wise. It even has a good number of cities. But check out the road density between the two. Kansas has the 4rd largest road network in lane miles behind Texas, California and Illinois. Montana is wayyyy down the list in road network. We get more for Interstates in Montana but if we get road density in Kansas, it could be the equal to Montana but in a smaller package.

I knew Alaska was sparse, but I had no idea it had less road miles than New Hampshire! Still, if SCS were to map both, I think ATS would include a lot more of Alaska's miles than they would of smaller states.

@DarrenN104 I was honestly thinking the same thing once I notice a blog didn't come to day. I-70, ST and industries are what I am looking into for sure. Something has to show us more of I-70.

@Xaagon That link is lane miles though. At the bottom, there is another link you can click that breaks down the roads even more. Still, that link is somewhat useful in trying to explain road networks. I agree on Alaska. Most all of it should make ATS imho. Alaska is huge. If people think Texas is huge, you can pretty much fit 2 Texas's in Alaska area wise. But road wise.......Alaska is a joke compared to Texas.

Industries/Special Transport are the most boring DLC blogs. It has nothing to do with actual pictures of Colorado DLC.

i sure hope some blog in the near future will be announcing the release date ! can barely wait any longer lol

also hoping for the map reveal soon, however way we find it out
