Let's see how far we can go. Let's hear your opinions.

If I break the rules I would ask the administrators to remove the post. This is an association of what would be and what will be.

By then, I hope pedestrians will be actual AI, and we will have peds crossing the street (hitting a ped would be like failing to pay loans in 18 WoS, game over)

Basing on what Dan said, i would like a +R rated ETS2 where you can actually run over the peds and get money combos the more you hit with limbs and everything flying everywhere.

Just kidding, i just hope that by the time we hit 2.00, the rear fenders won't be clipping through the trailer any more.

i took 8 years to get to 39, it would have taken more if the first 4 or 5 years didnt had 5 to 6 updates, i doubt we would see ETS2 2.0 anywhere near in the future at all, also, they would just go with 100, 101, 102 etc. and ETS2 2.0 would be basically ETS3

I think it will take somewhere around 20 years to get there if they don't go with 100, 101, 102,...But pavel mentioned that they have 7-8 more DLC cards left before they will cover the whole of Europe. So I have doubt that the game will get there someday. They might start a totally new game before that.

Well, version 2.00 is like 20 to 30 years away? Then I say:

Map: Complete Europe map (+reworked old maps), complete Russia, plus Northern Africa, Middle East and Central Asia.

Trailers: All trailers ownable, at least 10 trailer brands as DLC available.

Freights: A lot of new Freight types, around 1000 different at least.

Trucks: All truck brands from Europe and Russia, maybe we already have electric trucks or even flying trucks (lol). Plus trucks have a visible damage.

Graphics: Seasons, realistic weather, including severe weather events.

Random Events: A lot of more and maybe some special things like terrorist attacks, earthquakes, meteorites, epidemics, World War...

AI: smart AI, all real-life vehicle types, also pedestrians and some kind.

Player: Hard realism mode where you get hungry and you have to go to the toilet.
