Not according to what SiSL said. The manufacturer gives rights to the model of the truck. To me, that would mean all chassis and configurations is up to SCS. Now I am sure SCS runs it by them but it doesn't sound like the manufacture vetos it. Snowrunner has the 49X in 8x4 and all other type of configurations.

What SiSL said is, it is up to SCS what they want the truck to have, if an 8x4 is not in it they cant just make it without them going back to WS and ask for permission first

Why would SCS or Daimler decide not to release the now official options of the 49X? That would make no sense.

Just a detail for people to have it in mind on this 8x4 topic. The Renault T is depicted in game with chassis options that don't even exist in reality (6x4 at least and I don't remember now if anyone else). On the other hand, they explained us also they had difficulties to get the license of a truck time ago because the manufacturer don't wanted the "painted mirrors" option that SCS include in all the ETS2 trucks by default.

So, at the end, each company will have their rules about how strict they want to be with the depiction of their products in a game. But once the license has been granted, it's up to SCS to do what they want while not crossing the limits of that license. If some option exist on a truck IRL, we can suppose that the manufacturer allow it on the license. But then it's SCS decision when they release it.

A 6x4 doesnt exist for the T Range, what you showed are all 6x2s in different variants (6x2, 6x2/4, 6x2*4)

@xXCARL1992Xx ,you're correct, I used to work for Renault trucks dealership and you can't get a Renault T with 6x4, if you want a 6x4 Renault T (high cab , follow me) ,they'll tell you sorry you can only get the sleeper cab or the flat roof cab, and it'll come standard with a steel bumper and it will be called a Range C, and If you want the heavy duty axles? Oh you'll get it only with the heavy duty off road bumper and it will be called a Range K.

Renault trucks configurations are really limited and confusing.

Yes as mentioned
What is the first pic if not 6x4?

As I mentioned 6x4 is only available for the Range C with steel bumper, first pic is obviously a 6x2 tag axle.
