The latest patch has Western Star turn signals in the mirrors, you can see it in the interior.

It is subjective which aspect of the game is the most important, but there is a big difference between "they do nothing/not enough about graphics" and "SCS is already in the middle of improving graphics, but it will take some time until everything is ready".

Yes this is me too. If I have to squint and stare just to try to see anything, its not a factor. 1440dpi gysnc monitors, 1080gpu with 32g ram, 3.3mhz. I don't know if its my pc or me but graphics is last on my list as well...actually sound is but close enough. Once I upgraded to a 1080, I maxed out all setting, I run HDR, but still keep 200% scaling. I haven't looked back nor complained about graphicd when I knew my pc was weak with my gpu. Can it be better, I'm sure but is it necessary......not to everyone at this point. I see less than 2% on here, discord and the blog still wanting more for the graphics engine. Better weather, particle system, skyboxes, seasons..........thats not graphic engine but I'd much rather have those upgraded or added than more for graphics. Those are features. Anti aliasing, moving to multi core........those are graphics. DX11 was a huge upgrade. SSAO, worked well for me. The environment has depth now. Its a hit on fps but my pc handles it and still keeps me around 50+fps worst case. Otherwise I am 90+ fps. For me once I moved to Win10, things runs much smoother for me.

It is old, it looks old so need to be updated. Physics got improved 4 versions ago so... I think the time for graphics should be right now.
Physics only came to ETS2. ATS trucks did not get that upgrade if we are talking about suspension. Oscar confirmed this. Still most are okay with ATS for the most part.

I don't feel so bad about the graphics, but then again I've been accustomed to playing on a very low spec system for years and I don't really play any new games.
With that said, the only real issue I have in this context is just how bad the base map looks compared to the DLCs.

@Knightrider

I think the ETS2 change he's thinking of actually came later than that.

Right, it was the reworked " Cabin Suspension " that ETS2 got in 1.35, but not really relevant in this general physics discussion.

@bryntrollian I see, I was not aware of further physics improvements after 1.33

If this is the case @flight50, I appologize for the mistake, please disregard my previous post.

edit: Now I remember after reading your edit bryntrollian, and also remember OScar's post about it. I kinda mixed it up everything.
Best Regards.
