as a future option, the aerodynamic tail at the back of the trailer with the lights in it and although it looks very smart would be prone to being damaged in service, would it be possible to make that a tuning option so to allow a more "conventional" appearance, and with the option of having open-sided wheel skirts like this royal mail trailer

The idea behind this is quite simple, although it looks stylish with it fully faired in, the side skirts would be totally destroyed if a tyre has a blow out going down the highway, at least with the area around the tyres open, there would be somewhere for the energy to go

This is ETS2. Basically, nothing is going to happen even if you destroy your tires because the game doesn't have a decent damage model. Sure this isn't BeamNG but I would expect tire damage and stuff. That's what I would expect in a sim.
I love modern trucks and some old ones too.

But it would be a nice addition though, I reckon that looks more like a krone trailer to me at least.

@CarTMatt I was talking about reality as you dont see fully faired wheels very often. Courier ANC used to have some, but they opened up the wheel arches.

Krone do a very smart full aero trailer, but wasnt the merc one modelled here actually made by Schmitz?

Yes, you are right but according to the design, this is a CONCEPT and i decided to create it because it's looks nice to me.
If i change it to be same with other reality trailer, what the difference between them? :D
Thanks for the advice but i really like it as it is <3

Covered wheels are the future. I do agree though with AM. It's a concept after all, and the last time I saw this very trailer was for a video featuring Mercedes's Self-Driving Future Truck from 2025. It is useful though if you want your truck with a trailer to look clean or look futuristic cuz it looks like it's floating :)
