[REL] Aéro Curtain

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@thunraz103 it's easy ,, trailers uses the (not so) new paintsystem ...released a few gameversions back ...
best way is to see inside this mod how it's setup.. you have the internal name, trailerskin, paintjobfiles...
which have the new stuff for skins...acc_list which is needed for any custom skin to be applied correctly onto the trailer
you could also checkout youtube... there's a few tutorials ...

Re: [REL] Aéro Curtain
@m1keY I know how to skin a regular trailer, like SCS or Krone, but it doesn't work with Aéro Curtain.
Re: [REL] Aéro Curtain
@thunraz103 well this is skinned the old fashion way with a twist...
all stuff is made on one single template...yes, they are seperated in this download, but all put together they are on the same...
missing are the bumpers&mudflap templates... easy to extract using either B.E.M. or Mods Studio 2 UVexporter
Skinning it can be even more easier if you use Mods Studio 2 ...
I've created a project file for trailers like this..... installing that one and the custom .xml file for this trailer into
Mods Studio 2 installfolder you can easily create your skinmod with a few clicks and export directly to your game modsfolder....
Link to Mods Studio 2 - https://www.mods.studio/home link to the Discord to obtain the required extra stuff mentioned above is on that page...
joining the Discord is free, and it is a lot easier to get support when having issues as people are there online most of the hours...
If you don't want to join the Discord, just open this mod and check how the included skins are defined with files and filepaths.
