Re: Iberia Discussion
Today I finally added funds to my Steam for Iberia. Geographically I know whole of Europe but I have never been interested in Iberian peninsula. It has been four years since I started playing ETS2 and discovering my passion for trucks and travelling and that's the way how I learned so much about every country or region in Europe.
I was going through all photos of Iberia and I can see a lot of deserts, I'm not a very big fan of driving through the desert plains. But I hope that there will be some more greenish regions.

The north of Iberia is green. That's the good thing about Iberia: diversity.

I'm of the opposite opinion. I'm a sucker for rocks (long life Utah and its geomorphology).
Anyway, deserts in Spain are sparsely scattered on a couple of well defined regions, and definitely not plain except in the Monegros area.
What we really have is a lot of steppe. Iberia is a great plateau (or a MESA if you will) cossed by plenty of mountain ranges (SIERRAS), many of them well above 3000 meters.

Well, not really. I mean, it's quite obvious that this Twitter video is about Barcelona, especially if you've followed the blog posts about Iberia. So I wonder what SCS means with this Twitter video?

Fast food for the followers, Vinnie Terranova. Just that.
Re: Iberia Discussion
Hmmm, I've checked and A-92 (in Abla & Huéneja) and A-23 (near Barrancas) could have a similar landscape... A-30 option dismissed.

Do you actually know what a desert is in first place? Iberia only has a few (and isolated) regions that could be truly called "desert". Most of the peninsula has typical mediterranean climate, like central California in USA. The northern part of Iberia is a completely different story, very green, rainy and forested. Could be something similar as western Oregon/northern California if we follow this comparison with USA again.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Don't hit him too hard; considering most of the screenshots we had so far are from desert zones or very dry southern zones it's easy to form a biased opinion for somebody if doesn't know Iberia IRL.
Re: Iberia Discussion
Almost the entirety of the ETS2 map is green so I welcome the diversity of landscape with open arms (and wallet).
