I personally can't wait for this x15. Its even got that performance series whine. The x15 efficiency series doesn't have that whine the performance series does in the same way. It's much quieter. Kriechbaum always blows the rest away with all these sounds he does. From what I heard, this engine sound is nothing short of a work of art. Thanks for making this game so enjoyable with these sounds.

@Kw900 when I recorded my truck for this sound mod I was very careful to make sure I got the whine captured properly. That whine is a dead giveaway as to what engine it is.

@SYPHON absolutely! From what I heard from the video Kriechbaum released, sounded like you did a great job recording these sounds! That whine is a definite giveaway for the x15 performance series. Its way different from the x15 efficiency series. The ef series is a lot quieter and even has a totally different tone to it. I'm looking forward to trying this out. Thank you for doing the recordings. Cant go wrong with actual engine recordings. As a driver myself, its the details in the sound that makes all the difference.

I actually prefer the Cummins engine brakes to the Cats. Mind you Im talking from a company driver stand point, so no straight pipes (mostly). But the CAT's had a much more muted sound compared to the Cummins.

To be fair, JVS made the engine brake for both engine manufacturers, so at that point the difference is simply due to engine characteristics

Exhausts do influence all sounds severely that enter them. So i think it’s rather that.

Hey @kriechbaum I was just wondering if it was possible to add the effect of the turbo spooling up when on the Jake brake example 3:36 and 6:55 in this video for the ISX.
