Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
SCS never missed on the opportunity to ANNOUNCE a major piece like a truck, new trailers, or a map DLC with a FIXED DATE.
If only to fill their news with more substance than the rumour mill.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Anyway, why did they let us see the truck in the AI traffic, if they didn't intent to release it this week? Also they totally ignored the subject while thousands "cascadia" mentions were posted in the twitch chat.
IMO this was a mistake. It was too soon. If we didn't see it, I wouldn't think they would release it this week.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Well, they didn't announce a release date. They just said 'Soon' which could be any day or any week.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
If it is in traffic, i'd assume it is pretty much all finished. But, unfortunately, all we can do is wait until they feel like releasing. There is nothing we can do or say that will make it release sooner. And by the way, to all of you that are and will expect a release today... i'm sorry to burst your bubble... It won't. Why ?? Because of many reasons already discussed before and even confirmed by a dev.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
And I will say this: you are waiting for this Cascadia. But don't let yourselves be disappointed as it was with the Volvo VNL.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Where has anything so far been confirmed by a dev @55sixxx ? xD

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
The traffic models are different, aren't they? So it can be in traffic because it's a simpler model (or texture) and the player model is more advanced ant takes longer to make
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
On the WS thread, i don't remember who said it (I think it was either Timmy or Max) but they said that releasing stuff on friday is a no no... Possibly because if there is any bugs they don't have to work on weekends and etc.

Afaik @coolusername , they make the AI vehicles after the actual player truck... they optimize the model (Make it way more low-poly and etc.). I think that's why a lot of trucks only came for AI way after the release.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Nothing will gonwrong if the publix built they will release is already tested by the Senior or Junior testers, that's why ifnyou look at steamdb you'll see that most of the time "testing_senior" and "testing1" builds have the same branch number as public but were updated hours before
