I don't know what has become more boring. The fact that SCS ''start'' us all, showing the truck at the AI and ignoring Cascadia's mentions on live, or the fact that these speculations here have "get out of control".

I, as a final consumer, would like to test and see, mod mine, drive around as soon as possible. I know it takes time, hard work and so on. But "overhyping" like that now is not being nice to anyone.

Furthermore, from photos he doesn't seem to disappoint us like the Volvo VNL.

@Reis_6 The question of being disappointed that he speak about Volvo VNL, was the bugs that came with the release. Because the community request desperately At that time for Volvo VNL released and SCS released It before fixing the bugs.

What is everyone's problem with the Volvo VNL? It seemed like a perfectly fine truck for the game and still is.

EDIT: The only bugs it seems had to do with mirrors, I don't remember much else.

I seriously doubt that approval issues would surface after they announced the vehicle for the public with tons of media. Its not like Daimler could not take a proper look at everything before the announcement, quite the contrary. It does not make sense to me these speculations.

Yes, the Peterbilt 389 proved that "soon" within the realms of SCS could be anything between a week or 9 months

This^^. I hate when they play dumb around obvious stuff. Why didn't they talk more about the Cascadia or at least the cabin accessories?

It was mentioned before in this thread but some haven't read it or forgot about it.

If we look at previous truck releases, from the time they have been hinted to the release date, it was anything between 2 and 4 weeks.

It has been less then 2 weeks since Cascadia was hinted with Are you ready? video and a whole bunch of people are losing their minds why it hasn't released yet, making assumptions, etc.

I get it you want to drive it asap (me too) but for the love of SCS, be patient and have some common sense.

We're talking about time since announcement, not time since they've been hinted.

@Marcello Julio , the VNL wasn't released because people were requesting it whatsoever, I was a beta tester at the time and most of those bugs were already reported and assigned, they released it because Special transport DLC was on its way the same week! October was a busy month and SCS had lots of projects back then.
I'm not defending SCS here, just stating facts.

As for the Cascadia it's not cool at all that they were ignoring the subject on that stream, That's why I don't watch SCS's streams, back on the first stream in June 2018 people were asking about the new reworked trailers on traffic and Pavel and Nemiro just ignored it all!

Beta_Project wrote: 27 Nov 2020 09:05 Well, Friday has come, is it possible to release Cascadia today? After reading the forums, I understand there are some problems with it (not an official confirmation of course)
They said not too long ago that friday releases are out of the question.
