Sorry for what may be a silly question, but...I just downloaded the sound patch and there are two SCS files. Is there a specific place and order that they should be placed in the 3.3 Mega Pack to get the X15 Engine to work. Thanks!

@Kw900 The rule is simple : record everything you can  A Volvo low air warn would be cool !!

@valkyrie5874 It's not a patch, it's a whole new sound mod pack. Just download it and put it in your mod folder. The latest version is not 3.3 but 3.4.

I'll get you the best I can using my phone. Low air warnings would be awesome for both trucks.

The thing is that it's mandatory by regulation here (no joke, manufacturers can't sell a truck without the warning chime here)

@rookie_one yes, if that doesn't work, that's a shutdown violation.

Hey Kriechbaum.

I wonder if it is possible to create the "shaking interior sounds" like in the old days, to simulate the vehicles vibrating whilst traveling and to create the illusion of more uneven/inperfect roads. We all know when on a longhaul you got things in your cab shaking and making smaller noises, Things in the coolers/Fridges, cabinets, keys and coins in cup holders Etc. Somthing subtle but noticable.

Would be a neat addition to be apart of the addon mod with the tire/bearing sounds or a seperate Interior ambient sound addon.

I remember there used to be a few mods in the past having this, and its great for immersion IMO. :D

^Nice idea honestly. But I don't think trucks shake like that anymore. Especially autos. Autos are mostly what you see on roads as fleets tend to go that way now.

But I am sure you'd need the physics behind it to match your request.

OK, is it ATS code smart enough to overgear you when you are in cruise? Noup, with your setup you literally cruise on 1400RPM - 1500RPM 11th gear (detroit dt12) (55 - 60 mph) witch is not realistic, and its annoying as heck as far as sound goes...
You cant go all realistic with bunch of PC code that by default is not so smart to start with...

Yes, in reality its goes up to 1700RPM for low gear, but in reality automatic is smart enough to overgear truck when its in cruise...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRvRngLIEds&t=109s Here
You can see on video how its shifts in 12th gear as soon as hits 56MPH+, and guess on which settings autoshift do that in ATS?... not yours....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iaz-rqwPSMM Your "realistic" setup 56MPH 1400 RPM/ 60MPH 1500RPM 11th gear
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAlcsIA2BFk SCS "not realistic" setup 56MPH 1100RPM/ 60MPH 1200RPM 12th gear...
If you are discontent with what Kriechbaum is trying to do for his taste, you can simply modify the defs if you wish or even use a drivetrain mod?
Really? And what do you think I did when I find out that his mod modified rev and torque settings ? I dont argue his work, i use his mod so obviously I like his work on sound... It just that his rev settings dont sit well with game code, and auto shifter starts to behave weird (I like to use it on Cascadia)... Its his mod he can do whatever hi likes with it, but it would be nice to mention in mod description that revs and torque curves are modified for whatever reasons, i dont care, its his mod... Simple as that...

@NoDe31 you don't need to be so upset. I was simply giving you that option as I wasn't sure if you were aware. I use his sounds as a source for whatever I want to use it on. Like I stated before, hes trying to release something to help out the community. You can also put the system into manual mode and force it to shift into the next gear. I dont see what the issue is. I understand what you're saying but to me is a very minor thing. You just seem to be upset by it. I was giving you other options and how was I to know you already did that if you never mentioned it? I always change the sounds with Kriechbaum's in the drivetrain mod. So like I said, I dont see the issue. Regardless, enjoy the game for what it is.
