Pretty sure something similar happened with CO-14 where we got Rocky Mountain National Park instead.

Yeah forgot that you are right that this is in fact somehow similar even if not quite comparable in significance with the situation in RttBS (absence of Olt valley
for example). But yeah it's true what you said, they gave us US-34 instead of CO-14. Maybe it will come later IF there is enough space for it, maybe not... but at the moment it's definitely not there. Agree with you here.

Olt Valley, is that the E81 from Sebeș, via Sibiu, Rîmnicu Vîlcea to Pitești?
If yes, yeah, that road would be nice to get someday.

CO-14? between US-40 and Fort Collins?
Sadly not sure about that. It is IRL only a mile/1,6km missing ingame where CO-14 and US-287 split from each other. Wyoming border is very close to that area.

Given the scale of the game I prefer to have unique roads and specifics for each country rather than 3-lane highways which are the same around the globe. Sure, highways are more important for logistics, but driving them is boring.

The missing part of E81, would be a mix of roads.

But then a trucking simulation is not for you.

3 lane highways don't even exist here  apart from a short stretch of the A1 near Bucharest (But that's not even in the game)

The stretch of road I was talking about is like 35% 2*2 highway in hilly terrains with viaducts and a tunnel and the rest is a very spectacular national road inside a steep valley between huge mountains and a river next to it. Personally I think it's far more scenic than even the alternative Bran pass they built instead. It really seems like they made this decision just to be able to have a road next to the oh so famous "Dracula Castle" (That by itself is the most annoying steretypical symbol of Romania) But even then they could have done it the way Pigbrother said above.

Well, it is truck, not highway simulator. And trucks, as opposed to trains, can pick their way to go. Sometimes highway, sometimes countryside...

its a trucking simulator simulating the job of a long-distance trucker, and we dont go down scenic touristy sites but on highways and and larger B-roads 95% of the time, this is also what this simulation has aimed for mostly during its lifespan, and i if you find that boring, then this is not a simulation for you!

Yeah, pretty much this. I have to admit I'm not liking ETS2 slowly turning into European Driving Simulator, not liking this at all.
