Scania 143m - Edit by Ekualizer [ patch - 1.35.x ]
Re: Scania 143m - Edit by Ekualizer [ patch - 1.35.x ]
Things are starting to move.
Great!
It's always very sad when good mods become orphans.
Of course, the overall discussion, as well as any updates that may come, should stay in this thread.
Perhaps a mod can also help when it comes to putting updates in the opening post.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

A sound update using Kriechbaum's DC13 & DC16 V8 engine sounds:

Kriechbaum's DC13:
viewtopic.php?p=1294734#p1294734
Kriechbaum's DC16:
viewtopic.php?p=248884#p248884
All interior sounds (blinkers, wipers, windows, sticks, horn, etc) are stock, because it would be silly if they changed with the engine.
(Edit: updated link).

Nice one Roadie! Still figuring out how the animations work, but making progress
Also, do the window animations have a sound?

Update: Animation in Blender is done, I just need to export it to ets, which is proving a pain. I'll keep trying though

I think the window sounds are independent of the animation, most of these old truck mods that have sound updates have the window opening and closing sound even if there is no animation.CrazyMango73 wrote: ↑21 Dec 2020 08:59Nice one Roadie! Fantastic news! I've spent the last 6 hours of today trying to figure out these window animation defs and finally...I made progress! I was able to export my first window animation test today! I will put a picture here to show you!
The next step is to now do the animations for both sides as well as the interior ones. This is a huge step for me and hopefully we'll have working window animations soon!
