Yeah, but lot of people that jump carelessly into any released beta isn't so smart as to do it without mods. Thus a waste of time of some people in checking reports to see it's just another mod issue not a bug of the game.

That's the reason Mohegan13 says if it was for him mods would be forcefully disabled on EB and initial stages of OB. So it would me almost sure that reports arriving were about real bugs of the game to be fixed.

And yes, as plykkegaard says, that would mean that moders would take longer to release their updates mods after the stable version would be released. But mods are the ones that had to adapt to SCS tempos not at the contrary.

Depends, it is nice to be able to experiment with the changes and plan ahead what fixes are needed if any

Modders can still update their mods. They can still compare def files and things to see what changed, they just wouldn't be able to test mods until mid way through OB when mod usage is re-enabled.

Most modders are smart enough not to touch mods in EB and early OB anyway. Wouldn't be the first time things changed in OB that required updated mods to be updated again. The most recent one happened last year for either 1.38 IIRC.

A smart modding team will also have experimental builds to mess around with, as matter fact I know they have :)

I'm wondering if the "new lighting mode " will bring us "night shadows" from trucks lights and pillars , though this might be quite heavy on low-medium PC specs, it will be a nice graphic improvement.

So far, with the bits of info we saw, it seems that AI vehicles headlights will be way more visible that are now. But I didn't noticed if they cast shadows or not. I hope they did, and probably they will be controlled by the configs about shadows. Lower values on that config probably would make those shadows don't be cast to ease on low specs computers.

Lets hope for new addition to trailer ownership, such car transport trailers. Not sure why but wherever I might be at any given time, there's almost never jobs with car haulers nearby. I wonder if its bad luck on my side.

With the car industry in Iberia DLC,i think ownable car trailers have a good chance to come with 1.40.
