- The original blog post announcement about the delay said that they are aiming for a Q1 release date, i.e. before April.
- DLCs usually release on the third Thursday before Christmas. SCS could be aiming for a release date at a similar distance to Easter, which would be 18 March.
- The largest city of the last two DLCs was revealed in blog posts 69 and 78 days before release. For Iberia, Madrid was revealed on 13 January, these numbers put the release date on 24 March and 2 April.
- The first live stream for RttBS came on Halloween, 35 days before release. The first video of Iberia came on 27 January, resulting in an estimate of 3 March. If we don't count live streams, it could come even sooner. The first (official) video of BtBS came 44 days before release, meaning an estimate of 12 March.
- The achievements of RttBS were added to SteamDB 43 days before release. They were added for Iberia on 1 February, which could mean a release date of 16 March.
- My update prediction estimates the release of 1.40 between 9 March and 11 May. The DLC will likely release shortly thereafter.
Estimating the Iberia release date
Estimating the Iberia release date
My estimate is that Iberia will release on 18 March. I'm basing this off the following information:
Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
Mid-Late March by far the best guess.
Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
After 1.40 release I think.
And the beta might come after the current world of truck event, which will end on february 7th, and might last a few weeks (ATS and ETS2 included).
My guess is somewhere in the first half of March for Iberia then.

Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
I'm trying to remember -- haven't some version releases been concurrent with new DLC maps? I'm thinking that 1.40 + Iberia will release at the same time. Which means that once 1.40 is available in open beta, it should only be a few more weeks until release of both. I'm as excited as anybody else, but I'm all for SCS to take their time and thoroughly test everything before the release.

Reliable inside fonts I've on SCS told me they expect to release it for 2029, the quarter still to be confirmed.

Expect to..
We all know that, it will be delayed again. Especially when they move to a larger building to host everyone.
And not counting Covim-30 in the computation...
Nice to have inside info though...Thks

Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
I expect it to be out about one month after the 1.40's beta is released, give or take a week. I think we'll see 1.40 by the end of next week, so I'm going to say that it will be out the first half of March, specifically between the 5th and the 12th. At any rate if achievements are up that means it's far along, probably in testing, and thus aren't gonna see any big quarter long delays.
Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
1.40 Open Beta has just been announced -- so things are looking up for March sometime, I'd say.
Re: Estimating the Iberia release date
Sometime in March. I'm giving SCS a lot of leeway here.
