I can't even get the blog to load. It tells me the server's IP address cannot be found. Is the blog site down right now?

Blog is fine, maybe your DNS or your Service provider has an issue

Thanks. I looked into it, and it was indeed a problem with the DNS on my end. Strangely enough, the SCS Blog was the only site that was affected by the issue.
