Sometimes the way the forum software truncates hyperlinks doesn't play nice with browsers and copy-paste. Try this:

Code: Select all

https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360024699474-Downloads-Driving-Force-GT
Copy the URL out of the code textbox above and see if it works. It takes me to the download page in my browser reliably.

Thanks Eric, that link worked and i was able to download the Logitech /gaming /software, but i have no idea how to do this bit " you have to use the driver software's interface to create a basic profile for ETS2 ".

Now I have a new problem. The steering wheel is hyper sensitive, but only when I turn right! Turning left is normal, but maybe 5 degrees or right lock and the truck swerves off the road!

This is happening in ATS & ETS 2. I tried fixing the options in game, to no avail...

I'm blaming the LGS, as i haven't touched anything else, but the uninstaller doesn't work and i can't delete it because it says the file is in use...

update. I've now downloaded the Logitech profiler and that has cured the hypersensitive steering to the right, but i now have a new problem; the wheel constantly shudders/vibrates when i'm driving...

Further update: I've turned the feedback sliders for engine, suspension and terrain all the way to the left. That has cured the shuddering/vibration through the steering.

I'm posting this in case it might help someone else down the track...

I have a strange problem. I have three profiles and they all have the same settings, at least i think they do...

Two profiles work fine, the other one switches the truck to neutral, whenever I activate the wipers or headlights. I am using Real automatic mode.

When I switch from real automatic mode to sequential manual mode, the problem goes away, then it comes back when I return to real automatic mode.

its probably something really simple in my settings, but its got me baffled!?

I have a new problem, but it only shows in some profiles, not all and only in one game save within a profile, not others???

The steering is very heavy at straight ahead, but very light when slightly off centre. I've reset to defaults and used the install wizard a couple of times, but to no avail. I'm out of ideas.

Anyone, anyone?

I appear to be the only person posting in this thread now, i hope i'm not the only person reading it. :)

I have a new problem, the Cruise Control frequently cuts out or refuses to activate. It appears to be hyper sensitive to where i put my feet on the pedal base.

Stomping on the pedals often fixes the problem temporarily, but i don't like treating 18 year old equipment harshly...

I realise the age of the pedals is probably a large part of the problem, but i can't really afford new gear and i wonder if someone can suggest settings that may alleviate the problem???

Yeah I understand. The pedals Pots ate probably getting worn so they’ve lost some precision. It’s not a big job other than it’s lots of screws. You could try some contact cleaner on them and cross your fingers.
Edit:If you’re not up for that you could add a small dead zone to the pedals that would probably help too
