SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. This mod is open pipe sound for SCS, Pendragon, RIPE, Eugene Volvo FH and Virtual Service Volvo FH5 2021 D16G/D16K engines

Feature:
-Volvo FH16 open pipe sound for Volvo D16G/D16K engines
-Gear change and retarder sound
-Jake brake engage sound when upshift (activate at 1000-1600rpm range)
-Realistic turbo behavior
-Custom sound attenuation for realistic sound fade off
-Custom sound orientation for realistic sound from different angle
-Custom sound distortion for realistic exhaust tone depends on how much throttle pressed

Version 1.0:
-Initial released

could you perhaps make this work with the 2009 volvo...i have kriechbaums open pipe for that but cant get it to work

@NelTop5294 I have plan to do separate sound for fh3 but here's quick fix step:
1. extract mos file
2. goto def/vehicle/truck/volvo.fh16_2012
3. copy "engine" and "transmission"
4. back to truck folder and create new folder named "volvo.fh16"
5. paste 2 copied files in there
6. go to volvo.fh16/engine
7. rename "sound_hi.sui" to "sound.sui"
8. compress mod file to zip WITH "STORE" COMPRESSION METHOD
9. that's it

Have to ask, any chance of making a stock version of the D16 sound ?

I admit to preferring the more subdued stock sound instead of the open pipe :p

@rookie_one I think so, but it seems quite lame because it just reworked sound from scs one and just one engine
